Visonic Dome is a Kickstarter exclusive.

That means that after the campaign ends, you won’t find it anywhere else.

You’re not going to see Visonic Dome on Amazon. Visonicdome.com isn’t going to open a webstore. And you’re never going to find Visonic Dome on retail shelves at your local Walmart.

That’s because only the first 1,989 backers will get this final Visonic Dome Limited Edition.

So if you want the best way to keep your contact lenses clean and comfortable, back it on Kickstarter. After the 32 days are up, or the 1,989 rewards are reserved, Visonic Dome rides off into the sunset for the last time.

1.) Your best crowdfunding experience (ever?)

Visonic Dome is a totally complete, ready-to-go product.

It’s clinically tested.

It’s got all the relevant safety clearances.

With decades of experience in production and shipping fulfillment backing me up, I’m more than confident that I can deliver the Visonic Dome into your hands just months after the campaign closes.

But with all that said, I’m just one man. And with my dad, this is a small, father + son team. So it’s important to me that I don’t bite off more than I can chew.

My hopes for this campaign are to connect with all of you guys; to share my dad’s story and his fantastic design with you. But that’s tough to do if there are 10,000 backers – or more.


I want regular updates. Comments that get replies. One-on-one communication.

By limiting the production of this final run to just 1,989, I hope we can keep our interaction a little more intimate.

And by setting a realistic, achievable goal, I know I’m not putting myself into a situation where I might let you guys down. That’s crucial to me. ✌️

2.) Celebrating 32 Years with a Visonic Dome Limited Edition

The second reason ties into my father’s story.

When my dad left his home in Germany and came to America, he arrived with a dream and a plan.

He wanted to change the way you clean your contact lenses – to make it easier, faster, and more convenient.
To make contact lenses healthier, safer, and more comfortable.

And he worked his way up. My dad went from painting houses and picking berries in California’s Redwood Forest – to leading his Visonic Dome project for the biggest eye care company in the world, CooperVision, in Silicon Valley.

(Visonic Dome is still the only contact lens cleaner ever developed by a major American eye care company.)

Then, in 1989, he took another giant leap. He decided to go it alone.

Dad started his own business and debuted his timeless design at Vision Expo, East, in New York City.

In just 72 hours, my father sold his first 5,000 Visonic Domes to retailers and optometrists from across the country. Those first 5,000 pre-orders proved to investors that his dream had the potential to become a reality and funded his first production run.

That’s why I’m so driven to make 1,989 now. It’s like poetry; the first stanza rhymes with the last. What better way to celebrate my father’s anniversary than to recreate the moment his dream came true?
